SANTA BARBARA, CA 93105
7 beds | 7 baths | 7524 sqft
If the walls could speak at Summer’s Run, they would whisper the story of Old Santa Barbara. Originally built in 1904 as a summer home for the William Michener family. It was later owned by widow of Austin Tubbs founder of the now-famous, Chateau Montelena Winery. Francisca Dibblee purchased the home in 1922. Dibblee was the originator of the first Santa Barbara Fiesta. It is said that the idea for Fiesta was first hatched over a meal in the home’s elegant dining room. The home features a beautiful center hall staircase, a formal parlor, sitting room, billiards room and period pocket doors throughout the lower level.
